This period, my class was on May 20th 2015. I got to the classroom early; I prepared myself with the necessary materials that the class should require. I felt a little nervous because I did not have any experience teaching teacher's Agreda’s group of English Access students. The class began and the students made me feel very nice, only took few minutes for me to be comfortable with the group. I felt excellent working with the students, this group of students was respectful and they really enjoyed participating all the time, even when I did not ask for participators. The inconvenient that I found was the equipment; my tutor teacher was not ready with the technical equipment for me to present a video, so I had to develop another activity; luckily I had prepared an extra activity for the students. That really helped me, even the teacher was happy about the extra activity.

The class started with the warm up, I modified the warm up to be more related to the topic that I was about to teach, in that way I thought maybe that it was a way to provide the students a clue about the topic. I did not scare them by writing the topic on the board, nevertheless, I did write some examples on the board and I provided them practice so that they could become familiarized with the topic.
I could see that they were working in an active way and that the strategy provided from the teacher it really worked. Of course it worked the teacher has gained experience and I will definitely sure that I will apply the strategy in future lessons.
The students participated in the warm up activity and they enjoyed it because they did not want to finish the activity.
Time to teach the lesson began, I decided not to explain to much, I taught grammar again, I felt that I had to change the strategy to teach grammar notes; since, the previous class, students got lost, I decided to do it in a different way, so, I gave them practice previous the brief explanation that I gave; nevertheless, the students were asking many questions about the grammar structure.
Again time was not enough to finish with the activities. Teaching grammar is more complicated than I thought, it has become a challenge for me.

My first class this period was on March 18th 2015. The group that I was assigned was assigned to teach was English Access. I was nervous because my previous group was Basic English students and this group was different because they were in an advanced level.
I started my class with a chart to explain grammar. The group of students was very attentive to my explanation; however they got lost. For a minute I felt bad because I thought that I was not being able to explain grammar in the correct way. I moved to the next activity in which they could practice the grammar. I enjoyed this class because this group was very active and willing to learn.
Times goes fast when you teach, and I could not conclude my class, time was not enough to do the other activities that I had prepared.

My last class with this group was on February 27th 2015. I felt this time that I improved a lot because I felt different than the previous class. This time I took advantage of the time, I developed a lot of activities in the class and my mood was completely different, I could see that the students participated very actively and they enjoyed the activities very much and they also took advantage of the purpose of the activity because they do not only had fun with the activity; but also they understand the topic. The teacher pointed some grammatical mistakes in the chart that I prepared; although I may see them as little mistakes, when it comes to teaching there are no little nor big mistakes but they are seen as what they are: mistakes; and they are not allowed to be present in any form when teaching takes place. As a conclusion I can say that I have learned a lot in this first experience; and now that I know what involves being a teacher, I am even more thrilled with the idea to become one.
My second experience was on February 27th 2015. This time was very different than the first one because in this class I was very tired and it was because I had slept only two hours the night before. My lack of sleep resulted a big inconvenient for the development of my class; since I transmitted my sleepy mood to my students and the atmosphere of the classroom was pretty much down; although I developed the activities I had prepared for the class, I did not feel good about my role as a teacher. After this experience, I have learned that, teachers have a very difficult task, because they have to leave all their personal problems and whatever the situation they are going through at their home so they can transform and transmit the enthusiasm and love for education; since, school is another world and in that world there is no space for anything else that is not associated with the improvement of learning.
The group consisted of students from Basic English; my experience as their teacher was on February, 10th 2015. I felt quite nervous when I realize that I was about to teach a class. My nerves about the situation were disappearing very quickly because the group of students was so nice. The classroom was appropriate for teaching since the students, with their behavior, created a pleasant atmosphere were learning took place. Minutes later, I felt like a teacher; I felt motivated and willing to help the students in any doubt they probably had had. In every activity that I developed the students were participated actively and they all demonstrated a positive attitude toward the lesson I taught. The problem that I could detect is that, when I explained the warm up activity, few students understood my explanation. Now that I think about it; I should have used less complex words and more body language for students to understand the directions. Also, in the future I will be more aware of the time because some activities took too long to develop and I could not develop all of the activities that I prepared. I really enjoyed my first class.
