This time my second class was on May 13th. In this class I felt very confident, my lesson plan was developed properly, the students were working and participated efficiently and enthusiastically. I really felt that preparing a lesson plan really helps teacher to have a general idea of what the sequence of the class is. The students were talking practicing all the time. At the beginning of the teaching practicum I felt like I was never going to be able to control the teaching time; however, I could see at the end of this class that I developed all the activities that I had prepared. Now I feel better about myself as a future teacher.


This period, my class was on May 20th 2015. I got to the classroom early; I prepared myself with the necessary materials that the class should require. I felt a little nervous because I did not have any experience teaching teacher's Agreda’s group of English Access students. The class began and the students made me feel very nice, only took few minutes for me to be comfortable with the group. I felt excellent working with the students, this group of students was respectful and they really enjoyed participating all the time, even when I did not ask for participators. The inconvenient that I found was the equipment; my tutor teacher was not ready with the technical equipment for me to present a video, so I had to develop another activity; luckily I had prepared an extra activity for the students. That really helped me, even the teacher was happy about the extra activity.

My last class for this period was on April 29th. I felt very excited because my tutor teacher gave me this tip to improve the way to teach grammar. 
The class started with the warm up, I modified the warm up to be more related to the topic that I was about to teach, in that way I thought maybe that it was a way to provide the students a clue about the topic. I did not scare them by writing the topic on the board, nevertheless, I did write some examples on the board and I provided them practice so that they could become familiarized with the topic.
 I could see that they were working in an active way and that the strategy provided from the teacher it really worked. Of course it worked the teacher has gained experience and I will definitely sure that I will apply the strategy in future lessons.

My second class was on April 13th. My confidence increased because the group of students made me feel comfortable, they treated me with respect and of course I treated them in the same way.
 The students participated in the warm up activity and they enjoyed it because they did not want to finish the activity. 
Time to teach the lesson began, I decided not to explain to much, I taught grammar again, I felt that I had to change the strategy to teach grammar notes; since, the previous class, students got lost, I decided to do it in a different way, so, I gave them practice previous the brief explanation that I gave; nevertheless, the students were asking many questions about the grammar structure.
 Again time was not enough to finish with the activities. Teaching grammar is more complicated than I thought, it has become a challenge for me.

My first class this period was on March 18th 2015. The group that I was assigned was assigned to teach was English Access. I was nervous because my previous group was Basic English students and this group was different because they were in an advanced level.
 I started my class with a chart to explain grammar. The group of students was very attentive to my explanation; however they got lost. For a minute I felt bad because I thought that I was not being able to explain grammar in the correct way. I moved to the next activity in which they could practice the grammar. I enjoyed this class because this group was very active and willing to learn.
 Times goes fast when you teach, and I could not conclude my class, time was not enough to do the other activities that I had prepared.
